Homemade Rainbow Ice Cream Recipe
This homemade rainbow ice cream is a colorful and fun treat that is suitable for any occasion. The sweet and creamy base is flavored with vanilla extract before being tinted with vibrant food coloring to create a vibrant rainbow effect.
Ingredients
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups heavy cream
- colored foods (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple)

- Prep Time: 15 minutes
- Cook Time: 4 hours
- Total Time: 4 hours, 15 minutes
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract.
- Separately, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in the whipped cream and condensed milk.
- Divide the mixture into 6 smaller bowls evenly.
- To each bowl, add a few drops of food coloring and stir until the desired color is achieved.
- Place each colored mixture in a loaf pan, alternating colors.
- Wrap in plastic wrap and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
