Homemade Toasted Coconut and Lime Ice Cream Recipe

For a refreshing and tropical treat, combine the flavors of toasted coconut and lime in this homemade ice cream.

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 20 minutes

Instructions

  • Heat the coconut milk, heavy cream, sugar, and salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract, toasted shredded coconut, lime zest and juice.
  • Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature before chilling for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • Fill an ice cream maker halfway with chilled mixture and churn according to manufacturer's instructions.
  • Freeze the ice cream in a freezer-safe container for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
